This website is a project to complete the family tree of the Kreusler family as well as possible! Not all of the content is translated in english, please be patient. We are working on it.......
The idea was born at a family reunion by four brothers in Berlin, to our knowledge the only living Kreuslers here. We have a book in our possession titled “The Kreussler in Jena”, dated 1912. Our family can be dated back to the 16th century and became famous because of several fencing masters especially in the city of Jena in Saxonia.
My name is H.Michael (Mike) Kreusler. After many good years in the U.S. (1967-1992) I am now retired in Berlin. There were several Kreuslers who emigrated around 1900 to the U.S. My special interest goes to Ernst Kreusler (born1881) who emigrated to Brooklyn NY (5 children) and Arnold Kreusler (1834-1907, also 5 children). Others are Christian Georg (no data) and Fritz (born 1848) as well as Hans (born 1865). Additionally (thru the internet) we found out that our original ancestor Wilhelm Kreusler (1560-1621) apparently had a son named Hans (Johann) Caspar Kreusler (died 1635) who may be was the ancestor for all the Chryslers in America! We hope there is somebody out there who can tell us more about it. All German Data can be supplied also in English if neccessary.
